Lisa Rivers hails from Brooklyn, NY and has resided in the Lowcountry of South Carolina for the past 25 years. She discovered her talent and passion for art just 6 years ago, and she has grown in skill and popularity in the art world ever since. She opened and operated her own art gallery in Beaufort, SC, making Rivers the first African American female artist to own and operate her own art gallery on the popular Bay Street.
Her art has been featured in prestigious publications such as Vogue Magazine and AAA Magazine. She is known for creating colorful and vibrant works that uniquely capture the beauty of the Lowcountry and the boldness of her hometown of New York City.
Her work can be seen in many galleries, exhibits, restaurants and private collections throughout the U.S.
